Downtown Griffin is supported by the Griffin Downtown Council, Griffin Main Street Program, the Downtown Development Authority, and the City of Griffin.

The City recently performed multiple long-range planning activities to revitalize the downtown core. The Griffin Town Center Livable Centers Initiative includes information about our citizens’ vision of the future of Downtown Griffin. The Griffin Downtown Redevelopment Plan outlines the plans and processes the local government and private sector will follow to increase commercial and residential development in and around Downtown Griffin.
