Downtown Griffin has over 400 free on-street parking spaces throughout Downtown and over 500 off-street parking spaces in lots or garages owned or maintained by the City of Griffin or Spalding County. On-street spaces are available for free. Visitors are encouraged to park once and enjoy walking to their destination in our historic downtown.
The city maintains four off-street surface lots for public parking and one parking deck. Spalding County maintains two off-street lots for public use related to the Spalding County Courthouse and Annex. All off-street lots and the parking deck are free of charge and are located in convenient locations just steps from beautiful Hill and Solomon streets. Please see the map on this page for the locations of all off-street parking lots.
In 2009, the Downtown Development Authority and the City of Griffin retained Walter P. Moore & Associates to perform a study of downtown parking. Downtown Griffin Parking Study - 2009
